A VPN (Virtual Private Network) allows you to establish a secure connection between your device and the internet. Via the VPN, all of your traffic is routed through an ‘encrypted virtual tunnel’. This tunnel disguises your IP address and, the benefit of this, is that your VPN allows you to select the location of IP address. 

For platform security reasons, the Citrus-Lime platform can only be accessed from specific geo-locations. This can cause problems for retailers who  require access to the platform when working abroad or when on holiday. 

In order to access CloudPOS or CloudMT from a restricted location, you will require a VPN. The two highest recommended providers for VPN are ExpressVPN or NordVPN. Either of these companies can be used to acquire your VPN.

Regardless of which VPN provider you choose to use, you will need to be sure to set your location to the United Kingdom, in order to gain access to the Citrus-Lime platform.
