    eCommerce // What's in the January 21st 2026 update

We are updating Cloud MT, eCommerce, and the Checkout. Here are the details of what to expect in this release:

    eCommerce
    New Features

    • Added functionality so that the Cloud POS Forward Orders Service can now use purchase order line due dates when available, falling back to the order due date when a line due date is not set.
    • We’ve enhanced the Collections Homepage to display custom SEO fields—title, H1, meta description, and content—while still falling back to default values when none are set.
    • Breadcrumbs added to the collections pages to enable quick navigation back to main collections page without relying on the browser back button.
    • Dates added to collections to show the date of creation or the last update. Meaning users can quickly assess if any relevant/new updates.
    • We have added support for advanced tag filtering on collections pages, enabling users to refine results using AND/OR logic, allowing for more precise discovery of content as tag usage grows.
    • We have made it so that child collections will always show on the parent page, regardless of the status of the show on summary flag. For clarification, the show on summary flag refers to the main summary page and will not impact the parent collection display. *Requested by users via our Feedback Forum*
    • Product detail pages can now display available/matching coupons when a coupon is set to be promoted throughout the website.
    • Find and Filter pages now display coupons available flag (only when FAF configuration is set to Rich).
    • FAF coupons are only promoted on products meeting min/max price and min discount filters.

    Improvements

    • Updated the mobile filtering UI for the Collections Homepage to create a more intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly experience.
    • Improved the display of long collection titles, so that they do not overflow their containers.
    • Collection META-Description now defaults to Short Description instead of Description when no custom META-Description is set.
    • Collections can now filter products by term, discount, and price via facet URL parameters.
    • Wording amendments on collections page to better describe what is being searched.
    • Clean up of unnecessary errors to help with proactive error log management.
    • Removal of unused code to improve future maintainability and improve performance.

    Bug Fixes

    • Fixed the Inactive Products Report so that bad data does not prevent the page from loading.
    • The “Click for more…” button on custom product repeaters that use a collection now correctly links to the selected collection’s URL.
    • Fixed an issue where product pages could error when short descriptions exceeded the supported length in the product information dataset.
    • Incorrect query parameters on URLs that have a redirect in place will now no longer prevent the redirect from working.
    • Fixed an edge case that would prevent a user from being redirected to the cart when error returned from Cyclescheme checkout.
    • Customer uploads to Mailchimp/Omnisend are now working again by switching the integration to pull new and updated customers from the new customer endpoint instead of relying on the legacy Customers table.
    • We’ve updated the Omnisend order upload so shipping costs are now included in the order fulfilled event data.
    • Fixed an issue that could prevent custom builder items from being available for Click and Collect.

    Checkout v4
    New Features

    • Tracked items now decrement local eCommerce stock as soon as payment succeeds, reducing the risk of overselling while orders are still pending/before the order downloads into POS.
    • Omnisend order uploads now include order tags that capture the sales channel and, for web orders, the despatch type. This means retailers can segment and trigger automations based on whether an order was Web or Retail and whether web orders were Click & Collect / Pickup / Delivery, with additional tags for Amazon/eBay orders where detected.
    • Value of rewards to spend will now only show for verified or logged in accounts.

    Improvements

    • We’ve improved the mobile Order History view so paging through past purchases no longer jumps the user back to the top of the page.
    • Viewing order details from the history page, you will now be returned to the correct results page when hitting back, rather than always returning to page 1.
    • Updated the on screen error when a card type is not supported by the Citrus Pay card payment processor.
    • Previously selected Click & Collect locations (or the only available location) are now automatically pre-selected at checkout, so users don’t have to type in their postcode again.
    • Autocomplete/autofill has been improved across checkout and accounts pages. *Requested by users via our Feedback Forum*
    • Handling of data improved to prevent unnecessary background errors.

    Bug Fixes

    • Fixed a bug in which country ISO codes weren’t mapping to each other correctly, causing orders not to download.
    • We’ve resolved an issue in Checkout where the country field was incorrectly reset to the retailer’s home country after using postcode lookup.
    • Fixed a checkout edge case where Apple Pay checkout could result in an empty delivery address, preventing orders from downloading successfully.
    • The forgot password page will only now be accessible when not logged in.
    • Resolved an issue where existing site users would be shown the section on the confirmation page to create an account when paying by finance.
    • Fixed an issue where the Min and Max price filters weren't respected coupon restrictions.
    • Checkout now displays V12 finance options in the correct descending display order to match the PDP.
    • We fixed an issue where customer delivery address details were not showing in full on the order details page.

    Cloud MT
    New Features

    • We now support Product Launch Scheduling, letting retailers set a future activation date/time so products can go live automatically for planned launches. *Requested by users via our Feedback Forum*
    • We've added a new wizard for scheduling product activations in bulk, allowing retailers to apply (or clear) activation dates across multiple inactive items to support planned launches and campaigns.
    • Banner management now supports scheduled start and end dates giving retailers greater flexibility and autonomy over their website visuals. *Requested by users via our Feedback Forum*
    • We’ve added full SEO and content-editing options for the Collections Homepage, giving merchants control over the page title, H1, meta description, and introductory content. *Requested by users via our Feedback Forum*
    • Coupons can now be targeted to Collections.
    • Find and Filter Settings have been enhanced to show that the rich item configuration will allow applicable coupons to be advertised.
    • Added an option to the Edit Coupon page, allowing percentage-based coupons to calculate discounts against RRP instead of sale price.
    • We've enhanced the coupon setup page, including support for promoting coupons on the front end of the site.
    • Added an additional field added to the Coupons List grid to show if a coupon is promoted on the front of the site.
    • You can now export inactive items, including current season inactive items and archived items, making it easier to generate reports and analyse historical stock.

    Improvements

    • The Manage Child Collections grid now displays each collection’s title alongside its name, making it easier to identify and manage collections when names and titles differ.
    • We've added keyword, discount, and price-range filters to Collections.
    • Added the ability to delete collections to reduce clutter.
    • Updated collection info messages to aid understanding.
    • The Image Picker now includes Copy Path and Delete buttons on each image card, making it much faster to insert and manage images without navigating away. It also now defaults to sorting by Creation Date (newest first), making recently uploaded images easier to find.
    • We’ve improved the toggle buttons on coupon and collection pages for a more streamlined experience.
    • The Order Summary report in Cloud MT now prioritizes Finalised On over Created On for order dates.
    • Added an Active column to the Archive Items Wizard item selection grid.

    • Users are no longer blocked from deleting images from the image gallery.
    • Item based redirects now automatically clear when an item is reactivated.
    • Fixed an issue where AutoSIM was incorrectly reactivating archived products.
    • Improved handling of bad data in the inactive items list.
    • Resolved an issue where historic bad data could prevent product pages from loading.
    • Fixed a bug that could prevent the date an item was activated from being recorded.
