    eCommerce Update

"The eCommerce team are working hard on Citrus-Lime's replacement to Merchant Tools. This project is progressing apace with many screens now complete and operational.

We have a team of five (soon to be six, as we have another new starter) developers working on this as the main priority. However, we have diverted some of our attention to implementing some exciting new features around Click & Collect stock and fix a number of bugs in this update.

The next release after this will be in four weeks-time, week commencing the 26th November. This will not go to general customer availability, as it’s in the peak Black Friday period. However, the Account Management Team will be able to offer online demonstrations of the new Merchant Tools functionality.

We're very much enjoying the extra investment in the development we've been able to make built on top our clients shared commercial success. The development team has 11 staff up from the 4 that we had back in 2016 when we launched Cloud POS. This is allowing us to completely change the approach we use to develop.

The eCommerce team also have exciting projects coming with Klarna, ApplePay and better Click & Collect integration for V12 in the coming weeks."

New DLL's are now available to be deployed throughout November 2019.

Below you will find a list of new features, improvements and bug fixes that you can expect to see in this update.

    New Feature Developments

    • Allow Click & Collect to be restricted by stock location

We have listened to your feedback and have made a change to allow Click & Collect availability for a basket to be restricted by 'pickable' locations. For example, a retailer may want to prevent other stores' stock and SIM stock being used, restricting a basket to being entirely local to the store being considered for collection.

You can amend your settings in General Fields and Store Details in Merchant Tools.

Note: This is only available if you have the New Checkout if you are unsure please speak to an Account Manager.

    • Correct price shown for the attribute selected

Modified product page functionality to select the correct attribute and show the correct price when a customer visits the site from a Google shopping result.
