If you want all of your new customers to be automatically setup with a default account type you can do this by going to the backoffice, then on the menu go to ‘setup’ and ‘configuration’:
This will mean that all new customers are now automatically assigned the account type set in the previous step.
You will then need to select the default account type from the drop down menu as below:
