At the top of any wizard in the Cloud POS Back Office, there is a tickbox to Update Matrix Items and Matrix Parent?. This option can be used to make sure that any changes made to child items within the wizard are also applied to the other child items and the Parent record within that matrix.
For example, if I am using a wizard to adjust the price of an item, as below:
I know this item exists within a Matrix. The item in the wizard is the medium, but there are also three other sizes of the same product:
If I only want the change in the wizard to affect the medium item, I need to leave the tick box unticked. However, if I want to change all of the items within the matrix, I can tick the box:
When I then go back to the Matrix for this item we can see that the price has been changed for all of the items within the matrix:
NB: Wizards are processed sequentially, so will be 'queued' and processed one after another.
