We are updating Cloud POS. Here are the details of what's included in this release:
Back Office Access
After a successful launch phase where both versions of Back Office were accessible, we are now fully moving forward with the new UI. Access to the previous Back Office UI has been removed, and redirects are now in place to ensure you arrive at the correct page if you attempt to use an older saved link.
POS
New Feature
- Discount View Panel: A detailed Discount View panel has been added to the Point of Sale, giving staff clearer insight into the impact of applied discounts.
Improvements
- Item Management: The MSRP column has been added to the Manage View for full Item Search, improving visibility of recommended retail pricing.
Back Office
Improvements
- Picklist Grid: Order Comment fields now support wrap-text, making long notes display neatly without stretching the layout.
- Customer Communications: Visibility of the cashier who created notes or communications has been added for improved tracking.
- Customer Transaction Grouping: Customers’ Purchase history now groups by transaction number by default.
- Date Selector: Week numbers have been reintroduced across Back Office and POS calendars, providing a helpful reference for scheduling.
- Quick Search (ALT + S): Search now triggers slightly slower, giving users more time to finish typing before results load.
- Stock Enquiry:
- Pop-up now displays all stores by default, with the home store pinned to the top.
- Transfers Out now correctly display as Send Stock instead of Receive Stock.
- Purchase Orders & Transfers:
- Packs and Line Cost columns now update without a page refresh.
- Improved scrolling in header edit screens.
- Grid filtering has been made more intuitive with clearer options and a “Clear All” button.
- Users can now remove multiple lines from a Purchase Order or Transfer at once, streamlining order management. *Requested by users via our feedback forum*
Bug Fixes
- Auto Search: Fixed issue where the first query wasn’t cancelled when a second search field was used.
- Item Card Margins: Margins now update correctly without requiring a page refresh.
- Purchase Orders:
- Creating a Purchase Order for another store now displays the correct stock quantity.
- Fixed display/filtering issues in the Purchase Order grid layout.
- Closing a PO on one page no longer incorrectly opens the next Purchase Order on the same page number.
- Scrolling issues in edit headers have been resolved.
- Supplier Creation: Supplier details no longer carry over when creating multiple entries.
- Search & Select:
- Fixed scrolling issues when page size exceeded screen size.
- Improved usability when adding items in wizard creation.
