How do we submit Product Data to Amazon via the Amazon Integration?

How do we upload data to Amazon?

For the Amazon Integration, we use two automated uploads to post data:

    • Product Listing Upload - this creates new products, or updates product listing data for existing listings.
    • Stock/Inventory Upload - this updates stock levels for any listings.

We also send delete requests for items no longer marked as Amazon products in Cloud MT.

The two files above contain comprehensive information about your product inventory, formatted in a way that Amazon’s marketplace can efficiently process and utilise. There is more on this below.

The feeds are used to enable you to list products on Amazon based on the information you have in Cloud POS and Cloud MT. Once your Amazon integration is setup, the feeds are generated and pushed through to Amazon automatically for you.

How frequently is information passed from Cloud POS to Amazon?

Full Product Sync is uploaded every twenty four hours.

This means any changes you make to item data (description, price, images, etc.) may take a day to show on Amazon.

    Stock/Inventory is updated every hour.

This means stock levels are reduced or increased in line with sales or goods receipt within one hour.

What information is included in the feed?

The template for the Amazon Feeds are provided by Amazon, and are summarised below.

How do orders download from Amazon to Cloud POS?

To understand how order download works, please refer to our guide on using Veeqo: Setting up Veeqo to download Amazon orders

Veeqo offers a wide range of functionality, but Citrus-Lime use the integration purely to download Amazon orders into Cloud POS.

In terms of how information is passed between the platforms, it can be summarised as this:

Product information & Stock Availability:  Cloud POS & Cloud MT > Amazon

Orders:  Amazon > Veeqo > Cloud POS
