In order to give you maximum flexibility when looking at your data, we've added a new Grid Layout feature which lets you control what information you see on some of our most popular pages in the Back Office, so you can focus on what's most useful to you at that moment.
On most of these pages, you can save multiple different grid layouts for different scenarios. You can then swap between different layouts, depending on which criteria is most relevant to you.
These saved layouts are unique to the individual cashier, so that you and your colleagues can each have your own layouts that are suited to your roles – or just your personal preferences!
Where can I edit the layout?
There are several pages where you can tailor the layout of the information to focus on what you want to see, including (but not limited to):
- Items
- Customers
- Customer Orders
- Customer Order Lines
- Transactions
- Purchase Orders
- Transfers
- Goods In/Goods Out
- Stock Takes/Inventory
How to edit the layout
On most pages where you can look at product or customer data, you have the option to customise the layout of the grid so that it shows you all of the columns that you want to see, and hides any columns that aren't relevant to your search.
To change the layout of the grid of data on a page, click on the Manage View button here:

This will open up a side panel on the right, where you can tick the columns that you'd like to be Visible in the main grid, or untick any that you'd like to hide:

Any unticked columns will also say “Hidden” to the right.
You can change the order of the visible columns using the the arrows to the right – just click once on the left arrow to nudge the column one slot to the left, and vice versa. Doing this means that this option will also move up (or down) by one slot in the Manage View side panel, so that the list of options in this panel matches the order of the columns in the grid.

To close this Manage View panel, just click on the cross in the top right corner:

Saving your grid layout
Once you're happy with the layout of the grid, you can save it to use it again in future by clicking on the Grid Layout button:

Give the layout a name e.g. “Brands with Free Stock” and click Add to save it.
Your new layout will now appear in the list. The green highlighting shows you which layout you currently have selected – this will also be shown on the Grid Layout button:

You can mark it as a favourite by clicking on the star icon – this will make it your default view on this page.
You can delete a Layout by clicking on the bin icon next to it.
