We are updating Cloud POS. Here are the details of what is included in this release:
Single-line or Multi-line Picklist Filtering
The Picklist now displays an Order Line Count column, showing the number of inventory lines on each order at a glance. You can then use the new Line Count buttons above the grid to instantly filter your Picklist to single-line or multi-line orders, so you can batch and process them separately. This lets your team get into a smooth rhythm, working through single-line orders at pace before switching focus to the more involved multi-line ones.

Premium Shipping Indicator
When recalling orders by scanning an item at the Point of Sale, a rocket icon now appears next to any order ID containing a premium shipping line, making it easy to identify and prioritise them without needing to open each order individually.

Quick Switch Modal
Switching cashiers across Cloud POS and Workshop has been improved, with Quick Switch now appearing as a modal overlay rather than navigating away from the current page. Any other open tabs that would previously have been silently invalidated, forcing a full logout, will now recover gracefully, prompting you to complete a Quick Switch instead.

Back Office
New Features
- Retailers can now set a default SMS message prefix for Payment Links in Back Office, with support for personalization placeholders such as first name and payment value. *Requested by users via our Feedback Forum*
- Users can now share saved Back Office grid layouts with specific users, stores, or their entire business.
- Added a right-click Actions menu to the items grid in Back Office, giving quick access to commonly used functions, without needing to open the item first.
- The Smart Import screen for Purchase Orders uses AI to process PDF invoices and match lines against your existing items. Unmatched items can now be imported from SIM in bulk using the new "Import All from SIM" option, allowing departments and categories to be assigned across all unmatched lines at once rather than one by one.
- Dimension 3 can now be imported via the Item Import page, enabling retailers to import items with an additional dimension without manual setup.
Improvements
- Item aliases can now be included on Purchase Order and Transfer printouts, with a checkbox in the print dialog to toggle this on or off.
- There is now an Aliases column on the Purchase Order and Transfer pages in Back Office, making it easier to search, sort, and filter by item aliases when managing stock orders.
- Added a warning when an inactive item is scanned or entered on a Purchase Order or Transfer, allowing users to make an informed decision before adding.
- Invoice Number and Freight charges no longer carry over when creating a Child Purchase Order from a partially received PO.
- Forward Order and Ignore from PO Calculations settings now carry forward from parent to Child Purchase Orders.
- Grid layout saving is now available in the working grids of the Price Wizard, Item Detail Wizard, and Item Reorder Wizard.
- Added 'Counted Time' column to closed Stock Take grids. *Requested by users via our Feedback Forum*
- Updated Store Target field names in Back Office to replace "Profit" with "Revenue", ensuring the terminology accurately reflects that costs have not been factored in.
- Sorting a column in a grid now returns the user to page 1, eliminating extra clicks.
- Loading spinners in grids now stay visible within the user's viewport regardless of how tall the grid is or where they have scrolled to.
- Customer Communications can now be collapsed and expanded in the Message Hub, allowing for more flexibility and efficiency.
- Tidied up the Back Office header so that till information is no longer shown when working outside of POS, keeping the menu bar relevant to the area you're working in.
Bug Fixes
- We have fixed an issue where the Category filter on the Items page in Back Office would not persist after navigating into an item and returning, bringing it in line with the behaviour of the Department filter.
- 'Print All Receipts' button now correctly prints all receipts when receipts are spread across multiple pages.
- Sorting by Supplier in the Purchase Orders grid now correctly orders results alphabetically.
- We have fixed an issue where the end date picker on the Purchase Order creation screen would revert to the previous day when today's date was selected.
- Date filtering on Back Office pages no longer uses the current time of day as a cutoff, ensuring the full selected date range is always covered when running reports.
- Using the calendar picker to set sale start and end dates in the Price Wizard and Matrix Attribute grid now correctly updates items.
- We have resolved an issue where switching between Due Date filter options on the Customer Orders and Customer Order Lines pages could result in filters stacking incorrectly or failing to apply.
POS
New Features
- Added the option to restrict individual cashiers from processing refunds in POS, configurable per user in Back Office, ensuring retailers can remain compliant with internal policies while still allowing cashiers to process exchanges.
Improvements
- Added €100, €200, and €500 note denominations to the Euro Cash Calculator in POS, ensuring retailers using higher value notes can complete their cash up process without manual workarounds.
- Hover text for several fields in the item line modal now displays on small screen sizes.
Bugs
- We have fixed an issue where adding a fixed kit item via the item search grid in POS would show an out of stock message instead of prompting to break the kit, bringing it in line with the behaviour when scanning the barcode directly.
- We have resolved a bug affecting tax-exclusive groups where partially picking up a special order with a full deposit could result in a small unexpected refund at the point of collection.
- We have fixed incorrect checkbox behaviour when applying the Discount Percentage (Current price) option.
Workshop
Improvements
- The Workshop Calendar view has been updated with clearer section headers and improved button labelling to reduce confusion between the job list and calendar filter controls.
Bugs
- We have resolved an issue where part-day holidays in the Workshop calendar were not displaying in Day view, ensuring staff availability is accurately reflected regardless of whether a holiday is set as all-day or time-bound.
- We have fixed an issue where the Receipt Comment box became smaller after opening a workshop job multiple times.
- Out of stock items that are unavailable from the supplier are now prevented from being added to workshop jobs.
- We have fixed a bug where some workshop job fields were not being updated when open in multiple tabs.
API
New Features
- Matrix items created via the API now have the option to include a third dimension.
