We are updating Cloud MT, eCommerce, and the Checkout. Here are the details of what to expect in this release.

eCommerce
New Features

• Products under a supplier embargo will not be activated automatically via Auto SIM or scheduled activation, preventing products from going live on retailer sites before the agreed launch date.

Bug Fixes

• We have resolved an issue where names containing diacritics or apostrophes, such as accented characters or Irish surnames, would cause an error when redirecting Cycle to Work customers into the checkout.
• We have fixed a broken link in the Customer Rewards block on product pages that was returning an error, improving the overall health and SEO performance of the platform.
• We have resolved an issue where submitting the contact form a second time would cause the required field indicators and buttons to disappear from the page.
• We have fixed an issue where Star Buy product images were not displaying correctly in the mini basket immediately after being added to the cart.

Checkout 
Improvements

• Postcode lookup now shows a clear message when a postcode is not recognised, and is automatically hidden when a non-UK country is selected.
• Validation errors on address fields now clear as soon as the relevant field is corrected, rather than waiting for the form to be resubmitted.
• The address nickname field is now optional when saving an address during a signed-in checkout journey.
• Address flow buttons have been improved to make it clearer what action they perform. 
• The coupon and voucher panel now displays correctly across all site widths, including sites with custom width settings.
   

Bug Fixes

• We have fixed an issue where RRP percentage coupons were not being calculated correctly for baskets containing fully-discounted Star Buy items.
• We have fixed an issue where the Klarna application reference was not displaying on the order confirmation page after checkout.

Cloud MT
New Features

• CloudMT now warns users when activating a product that is still under embargo, displaying the embargo date so they can make an informed decision before proceeding.
• We have added an ‘Ignore Star Buys For Finance Eligibility’ option to the Finance Products page in CloudMT, which excludes Star Buy child items from the basket margin used to check finance eligibility. This means a low-margin Star Buy no longer pulls the basket below a finance product’s minimum basket margin.
