How can I recall a Customer Order from the Back Office?

There are several places in the Back Office where you can look at a Customer Order and recall it in Cloud POS. For example, on the Customer Orders page, you can use the blue button in the Order Number column to recall the order in Cloud POS:

You'll see a message letting you know that you'll be logged into the store for that order, which will then be opened in the Point of Sale - click Yes.

This will then take you to the register selection screen in the Point of Sale – choose the till/cash register you'd like to use, and it will open with that order already showing on the transaction screen:

You can then do whatever you need at this point, for example you could select all for pickup if the customer is there to collect or you could make any necessary changes to the order.

Contacting a customer about their order from the Back Office

If you need to get in touch with a customer about their order, for example if a delivery is delayed, you can do this directly from the Customer Orders page in the Back Office.

    1) In the main menu in the Back Office, expand the Customer Orders heading, then click on Customer Orders.

    2) Find the order in question in the list and click on Actions, then on Customer Communication.

    3) A panel will open on the right where you can send a quick SMS, if the customer has a mobile number on their record. If you would like to send them an email or add a note to the order, you can use one of the buttons in the bottom left of the panel:

    4) This will open a pop-up on the left hand side, where you can write and then send your email/SMS/note:

NOTE: This panel can be moved and resized, for example if you need to go back to the order and expand it to see the individual order lines. You can move the window using this grid of dots in the top left (your mouse cursor will turn into a little hand) and you can resize it by clicking and dragging any of the edges or corners.
