Adding the Bin Location on a product record is a feature many retailers find helpful to identify where individual items of stock can be located within their premises.
This means you don't need to memorise where items are stored, which can save time if you have a large inventory.
The Bin Location can be seen in the Inventory section of an item record:
To change the Bin Location, click on the blue pencil Edit icon on the left.

To help keep track of any changes that are made to the Bin Location, you can use the View History link in the Bin Location column.
Here you can view the previous Bin Location, the current Bin Location, which user login made the change, and the date and time the change was made:
