    Apple Wallet Integration

    Orders and Customer Rewards Cards

Citrus Lime supports Apple Wallet for two customer experiences.

    Apple Wallet Order Passes

    Apple Wallet Customer Rewards Cards

These features allow customers to store order information and loyalty cards directly in Apple Wallet on their iPhone. This provides a fast and convenient way for customers to view order details or scan their rewards card in store.

    Apple Wallet Order Passes

    Overview

When a customer places an order using Apple Pay, an Apple Wallet order pass is automatically created.

The pass is added to the customer's Apple Wallet and displays the key details of their order.

The order pass will automatically update as the order status changes.

    Order Status Updates

The Apple Wallet order pass updates based on the following order statuses.

    Order Placed

Triggered when the customer successfully places the order.

    Completed

Triggered when the order is completed and tendered through the POS.

    Cancelled

Triggered when all items are removed from the order and the order is tendered through the normal POS cancellation process.

The pass will update automatically on the customer's device when the status changes.

    Example Order Pass

Customers can view the full details of their order directly from Apple Wallet.

Items purchased, totals, and order status are shown clearly on the pass.

    Apple Wallet Customer Rewards Cards

Customers can also add their Customer Rewards Card to Apple Wallet.

    This allows them to:

    • Access their loyalty card quickly on their phone
    • Scan the card barcode at the till
    • Automatically receive updated points balances

Customers simply open Apple Wallet and present their rewards card for scanning.

How Customers Add Their Rewards Card

Customers must first sign in to their account on your website.

Once signed in they can navigate to their Account area where they will see their rewards balance and the option to add their card to Apple Wallet.

    Image Recommendations

For best results use the following image sizes.

    Small logo
    Maximum size 29 x 29 pixels

    Large logo
    Maximum size 58 x 58 pixels

    Banner image
    Maximum size 375 x 123 pixels

These sizes ensure the card displays correctly across different Apple devices.

Using the Rewards Card In Store

Customers simply open Apple Wallet and display their rewards card at the till.

The barcode on the card can be scanned using a compatible scanner.

    Important:

A 2D barcode scanner is required. Standard 1D barcode scanners cannot read the Apple Wallet barcode.

    Summary

Apple Wallet integration provides customers with a convenient way to interact with your store.

Order passes allow customers to track their order status in real time.

Rewards cards allow customers to easily access and scan their loyalty card from their phone.

Together these features improve the overall customer experience both online and in store.
