    Customer Rewards // Update - 12th July 2021

    We are updating Customer Rewards Version 2.

    This update includes updates ready to begin the import of groups from Version 1 across to Version 2, and was made live last night (July 12th 2021).


    New Feature 

    • Better handling of Returns implemented in Version 2 - this is a significant improvement on Version 1.
      • Return Transactions will reduce earned points accordingly until all points have been returned from the transaction.
    • Points multiplier specific to individual Customer Accounts. This functionality was available in Version 1 and has now been added to Version 2; 
    • Added Language translations;  
    • New Promotion notification.
      • This feature notifies rewards customers automatically of a new active promotion they can benefit from, helping boost sales.
      • Notifications will only be sent once the promotion has started and remains active.

    Improvements

    • Removal of unused fields from data brought across during migration;
    • Removal of code relating to no longer supported external notification software; 
    • Improved handling of potential duplicate accounts. 



    Bug Fixes 

    • Pending Points now clear from Pending Points grid after redemption.
