    Cloud POS 2.0 // Update - 6th November 2023

    We are updating Cloud POS 2.0. Here are the details of what's expected in this release:


    Improvements

    • We have relocated the option to search for customers using a Customer Rewards card from the customer quick search bar to the navigation panel. This change reduces the likelihood of unintentional errors in the UI.
    • We've improved the wording for current-transaction discounting and all-item discounting, making it easier to distinguish between the two options.
    • Different discount types, such as percentage-type discounts based on price or amount-type discounts based on desired profit margins, now feature dynamic descriptions corresponding to the selected discount type.
    • We've enhanced the user interface workflow for inter-store transfer options.
    • When handling Klarna orders, we've hidden the exchange processing button to avoid any confusion.
    • We've adjusted the position and colour of the "View Gift Vouchers" button, making it more intuitive for users.
    • We've made various minor stylistic improvements throughout the UI, including punctuation and colour usage.

    Bug Fixes

    • We've fixed a bug that was preventing Klarna refunds from being processed.
    • Partial account payments are no longer incorrectly flagged as a discount.
    • Shipment costs are no longer factored into the shipment value for international orders.
    • Keyboard shortcuts are now disabled when a dialog box is displayed.
    • We've resolved a bug that was causing Cloud POS to become unresponsive until the page was refreshed.
    • We've improved the way Customer Rewards points are rounded, ensuring there is no discrepancy between the amount due and the total tendered.
