We are updating Cloud MT, eCommerce, and the Checkout. Here are the details of what to expect in this release.

eCommerce
New Features

• Laid the groundwork for first-party Google Tag script URLs on sites, so that when the feature is fully enabled per retailer, tracking scripts will be served from the retailer's own domain rather than Google's, improving compatibility with browsers and ad blockers.
   

Improvements

• Affirm payments are now being recorded in Google Analytics, ensuring the correct payment type is now reported for accurate tracking.
   

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue causing certain icons on product pages, such as the returns arrow, to stop displaying correctly.
• Resolved two issues caused by long or multiple MailChimp campaign IDs that could either prevent orders from being created or cause page errors, ensuring a smooth checkout experience for customers arriving via email campaigns.
   

Checkout 

New Features

• Apple Wallet orders now include tracking URLs for delivery orders and pickup details for Click & Collect orders.
• Introduced an order locking mechanism in checkout that prevents order details from being changed once a payment method has been selected, reducing the risk of orders reaching Cloud POS with incorrect or mismatched details. 
   

Improvements

• Improved the reliability of V12 Finance order processing, ensuring orders are now captured automatically regardless of whether the customer clicks to return to the site after completing their finance application.
• Added a Star Buy indicator to the Order Summary panel in checkout, making it clear which items are part of a Star Buy deal.
• The "Use Delivery Address as Billing Address" option is now ticked by default in checkout, streamlining the process for customers who use the same address for both. 
• Moved the postcode search input to the top of the address form in checkout, making it easier for UK customers to look up their address before filling in other details.
   

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue where customers with older legacy orders containing no order lines would see an error when viewing their order history, ensuring the page now loads correctly and simply skips any incomplete historical orders.
• Resolved an issue where the Annual Rate of Interest displayed on the V12 finance page was incorrectly showing the APR figure, ensuring retailers remain compliant by now calculating and displaying the correct distinct value.
• Postcode fields now correctly save in uppercase to match their on-screen display, preventing false payment check failures caused by case mismatches.
• Resolved an issue where cart styling was causing payment buttons to display incorrectly on smaller screens.
• Fixed a visual alignment issue on iPad where the country phone prefix dropdown and phone number input were not correctly aligned in horizontal orientation.
• The address book nickname field in checkout now enforces a 50-character limit, preventing errors.

Cloud MT

Bug Fix 

• Fixed an issue where changes made to Facet Navigation settings in CloudMT, such as updating images or descriptions, would not appear to have saved until the following day, despite the changes correctly applying to the storefront immediately.
