How can I make bulk changes to prices?

If you need to make bulk changes to one of the prices of your items, the easiest way to do this would be to use the Price Wizard.

    1) In the Cloud POS Back Office menu, navigate to the Wizards & Imports section, then click on Wizards:

    2) Look for the Price Wizard under Item Wizards and click on Create Wizard:

    3) Click on Search and Select Items – this will take you to the screen where you can use the filters to select the items you wish to adjust:

Use the filters to narrow down the items you want to adjust, and then tick the box next to each item to select it.

    4) Once you have selected all the items you wish to adjust, click on the Create Wizard button in the top right:

    5) This takes us to the screen where prices can be adjusted:

    6) Let's say that we want to put all the items on sale with a 20% discount from the regular price, for the period of one month.

To do this, click on the Set Formula button at the top of the Sale Price column.

If you can't see the Set Formula  button, click on Show Bulk Editing in the top right of the grid to make it appear:

    7) A menu will pop up. Make sure the Source Field is set as Price, click on Decrease by (%), and type 20 into the Value box:

    8) Scroll down on this menu and set the Start and End dates under Sale Period. Make sure you check the dates carefully, including the year!

    9) Read the Summary box to make sure you've set it to how you want. Once you're happy, click the Apply button:

Once you have applied the changes, the new values that have been set against each item are highlighted, as below:

    10) If you would like to update the matrix parent items for any items in your wizard, tick this box near the top of the screen:

    11) Click on Commit Wizard near the bottom of the screen to complete the wizard:
