    Picking up a workshop job

    If a customer has come in to collect a completed workshop job, the most efficient way of dealing with the order is to open the Point of Sale software and set customer to the transaction as below:

    Then you just need to click on the recall orders button, because we have already selected the customer this should only show orders specific to that customer:

    We now just need to recall the relevant order, this will add bring the job onto the point of sale screen, at this point you can add any more items on if the customer wants to buy anything else, it is then just a case of selecting all for pick up and tendering the transaction:


    As a safety mechanism, to prevent workshop jobs from being completed in POS before they have been completed in Workshop Module, you will see this warning when trying to tender an incomplete workshop job through POS:
