    How do I print a Gift Receipt?

    If your customer would like a gift receipt in addition to their regular sales receipt, you have the option to print a 40-Col gift receipt at the end of the transaction. You also have the option to print a Full Size gift receipt at any time after the transaction, providing you set a customer on the original transaction in the Point of Sale.

    When the gift receipt is printed, it will mimic the regular sales receipt, but will not display any information relating to item prices or transaction totals.


    To print a 40-Col gift receipt

    Tender the transaction as normal, opting whether to print a 40-Col receipt and/or send an e-receipt. (The selections you make here do not affect the ability to print a gift receipt.)

    When the transaction is complete, you will see the Transaction Summary screen. Click to Print a Gift Receipt:

     

    You will see a success message to confirm the receipt has been printed.

    Please Note

    Gift receipts are not added to the Receipt Journal, so this is the only opportunity to print a gift receipt for the transaction in a 40-Col format.

     

     


    To print a Full Size gift receipt

    Providing you set a customer on the transaction, you can access a Full Size gift receipt at any time after the transaction has been completed. Navigate to the Purchase History tab for the relevant customer in the Cloud POS Back Office. Here you will see the option to View Gift Receipt:

     

    This will open the Full Size gift receipt in a new tab in your browser. You can now print this to your local Full Size printer and/or download it as a PDF file. If you wish to email this gift receipt to your customer, you will need to send this email outside of the Cloud POS platform.
