We are updating Cloud POS. Here are the details of what to expect in this release:
New Feature
- A Quick SMS User Interface has been added to the POS, marking the initial phase of a wider project to enable two-way communication within the POS. This new functionality will allow users to easily send and receive text messages directly from the POS, allowing you to stay better connected with customers. Further work is required in order to receive responses into the POS - look out for further communications coming soon.
Improvements
- Further performance improvements implemented after continued analysis of system performance metrics.
Bug Fixes
- We have fixed a bug that prevented the quick cancellation of Klarna orders that were partially paid for using Customer Rewards. You will now be able to remove all items and tender without error.
- We have fixed an issue that caused customer postcodes not to be saved when creating a customer via the Backoffice.
- A bug where multiple booking reminder emails would be sent if the reminder text message failed has now been fixed. This was because the reminder was not marked as sent so would keep trying to send the message; this has now been fixed.
- An error will show if the item is not found when quickly scanning onto a Wizard.
- Messaging improved when order update fails.
